In case anyone actually buys into this law and order garbage that the federal government spews out of its backside, take the case of Tom Flanagan, the former guru to the Harpo regime and a neo-con star here in Canada.....
To recap, first he suggested that Wikileaks founder Julian Assange should be assassinated, something which Wikileaks and all those in opposition to the 1% consider to be a death threat against their lives. Mr. Assange still remains in hiding in an Ecuador consulate at least partly in fear for the assassins that Mr. Flanagan apparently knows about.
Then when a citizen taxpayer ordinary Canadian named Janet Raymond e-mailed Mr. Flanagan to protest his violent solution to the cause of free speech, he threatened her life saying, "better be careful we know where you live."
The police, with a big bag of cash-shaped paper objects hanging out of a back pocket, declined to press charges despite her formal request for same, suggesting that because she wasn't a business corporation she didn't have the authority to demand charges for the threat on her life.
So in law and order Canada Mr. Flanagan wanders free to threaten We The People in any way he wants. To further rehabilitate him and show the 99% just how powerless they are, the PMO instructs the CBC to have this guy on as a guest every chance they can. He's a regular on the show Power and Politics with the power part apparently being these people's power to kill any Canadian they want.
The politics part is that a corpse can't vote. One less vote for the opposition.
