The commissioner of the Canadian Football League (who's doing a fantastic job by the way) has waxed enthusiastic on the subject of Justin Bieber performing at the half time ceremony for this weekends Grey Cup matchup between the Toronto Argonauts and the Calgary Stampeders.
He feels that Bieber will bring in new fans for the CFL but this sites newsroom does find itself somewhat skeptical about the idea. I mean, are twelve year old girls really the kind of crowd we want to attract to our football brand? Sounds dangerous, what if there's a riot?
They'd be smashing their My Little Ponies through shop windows and heaving Easy Bake Ovens at police cars. This is not the kind of thing my CFL should be supporting no sirree bob!
