Middle class martyr Gabriel Nadeau-Dubois, the charismatic spokesman for the citizen’s action CLASSE group that almost single-handedly brought down the elitist and out of touch with the people Jean Charest government in Quebec, has been convicted, without benefit of trial by his peers, of advocating free speech and citizen rights and sentenced to 120 hours of community service.
Free speech and citizen rights are, of course, in contravention of make-believe law in Canada and so the judiciary industry, always looking for more ways to interfere with our lives, were bound to find him guilty.
Considering community service is what he’s dedicated his life to, the sentence seems strangely appropriate. Now if one could only find some way to sentence our MP’s and MLA’s to performing something in the way of community service instead of just doing what they want, supporting only things of interest to themselves, and walking away with a fat paycheque, we’d be laughing.
As it is now we’re just crying…
