In an incredible act of treason by the Harper government, communist China, a major ally of Iran and North Korea, have today been given carte blanche to take over a large chunk of the Alberta oilsands. Even the government’s pet dog CSIS has warned this could lead to a serious destabilization of the security of Canada.
But this threat has made no difference in this ill-conceived and dangerous decision. And what’s more troubling, the Harper government has apparently held off okaying this decision intentionally to coincide with the anniversary date of the attack on Pearl Harbour. This appears to have been done to send a message to the world that we in the West are yet again under attack and, unlike 71 years ago, there's apparently nothing we can do about it.
We must never forget. What happened here today will come back to haunt Canada and when it does we as a free and democratic people must remember and if at all possible hold those government officials responsible for this treason completely and fully accountable for their crimes against Canada and apply the severest penalties for this heinous act.
As for the claim of reciprocity. This is a lie. There is not now, and there never will be, any ownership of Chinese resources by any branch of the Canadian government. National security is imperative to the government of China and they simply would not allow such a treasonous occurrence to take place. There will be NO reciprocity, NO Canadian government ownership of Chinese resources of any kind. Ever.
