HOCKEY COACH MARTIN TREMBLAY JAILED FOR TRIPPING PLAYER

A  judge has sentenced a B.C. hockey coach, who was caught on tape  tripping a teenage player, to 15 days in jail and 12 months of probation. Martin  Tremblay, 48, was filmed knocking the skates out from underneath  a 13-year-old hockey player with his foot following a game at UBC's  Thunderbird Arena last June.

This was not a nice thing for this guy to do. He did it in the heat of the moment and he apologized for it. He should be banned from coaching again because he clearly has temper issues.

But this is NOT a criminal act that requires middle class citizens having their lives destroyed and going to jail for long stretches at a time so that the law industry has employment to keep themselves amused with while gangsters run free in our streets. This sentence is an outrage.

So what this site is saying is this:  fellow middle class citizens be smart here. Get out of coaching kids or helping with extra-curricular activities of any kind. Don’t coach, don’t volunteer, don’t get involved. The risk of jail isn’t worth it.

If this is the kind of situation that We The People face with jail sentences hanging over us like a sword of Damocles with everything we do then we have to stop doing. Anything. Like the Soviet-era Refuseniks that eventually brought down an evil empire, we have to just refuse to participate.

Until the system collapses and something better takes its place. And hopefully included in that better society will be treason trials so we can punish the officials responsible for these crimes against us.
