A middle class mom is outraged after her 12 year old daughter was seized by authorities in Corner Brook Newfoundland and held for 11 days in an adult jail where the authorities did what they pleased with her.
Her ordeal in this adult jail facility was so horrific that she tried repeatedly to commit suicide to end her suffering. Not only did the suffering not end but she was refused hospital treatment for the damage done to her body.
The jail, regularly used to hold serious sex offenders and other adult killers, is not meant for children and should never be used for children according to youth advocates and concerned citizens.
It’s still not clear why and how many middle class kids in Canada are being singled out for this heinous and atrocious treatment.
