WESTERN FAMILIES OF HOSTAGES KILLED IN ALGERIA SEEM STRANGELY SILENT

A puzzle has come up for us here at this site.

A couple of weeks ago at least 4 dozen western hostages from Europe and North America were killed in a hail of bullets and who knows what else during a ludicrous rescue attempt by the Algerian military. They had been taken hostage by Islamist militants and, without consultation with interested foreign governments, the Algerian government rode in like a pack of cowboys and an incredibly high number of hostages were killed.

But here's what's puzzling us......why have we not heard a peep from any of the families of the dead hostages? With that many hostages dead surely some family members must be upset at the methods used that put their loved ones at such risk?

And yet the media air is silent as to how they feel about these deaths. Not a whisper of complaint from any family member found anywhere in mainstream media. Odd.
