A report from one of our Surrey stringers on life in the death zone known as Surrey Central (it used to be called Whalley):
"So I was in the McDonalds on King George Highway (name has been changed to Blvd, ed) at about 6:45am on Wednesday Sept. 24 and there were three senior citizens sitting quietly drinking coffee in one corner when out of the blue an armed RCMP officer rousts them from their seats and throws them out of the McDonalds claiming that the manager called the RCMP to do so. Apparently they weren't drinking their coffee fast enough and this is a serious offense in Surrey.
They were doing nothing wrong, in most communities we respect our seniors, but then this is Surrey. I couldn't help thinking that the RCMP could be doing a lot more important things than harassing seniors in a McDonalds! When I tried to intervene they threatened me despite international treaties regarding a free press!"
Okay, we want to put this in perspective. This is the same part of Surrey where teenage girls blood is running through the streets as murder and rape and mayhem and anarchy reign supreme and the RCMP are doing this? This is how they spend their time rather than protecting our kids from the violence of the worst scum in Canada? This is major crime while butchery and banditry are disregarded as a minor nuisance?
We here at this newsroom call for an open boycott of the present Surrey council, we call for their removal from office during the next election, we call for the replacement of the RCMP in Surrey with a local 'Delta Police' style force that will actually function with priorities and common sense, not stupidity and idiocy.
And we especially call for a boycott of ALL McDonalds restaurants until this manager is fired. When this guy learns to respect his elders he can work in our community but until then he needs to find out what the 'dole' is.
Oh and in case anyone thinks we exaggerate the crisis of criminality in Whalley oops we mean Surrey Central just Google the name Serena Vermeersch. And ask yourself where the policing priority should be in this community. Then ask Surrey council that same question!
