Joe Oliver, Conservative government federal cabinet minister, jumped the queue for serious medical surgery and received a heart bypass operation this month in an Ontario hospital.
Among those who’s life saving surgery was pushed back in order to accommodate the minister was a middle class mother of three young children, who was also waiting for the same surgery and would have received it had this government elite not pushed in ahead of the line.
She has since died of her illness. Her children now face a lifetime without their mother. We don't know how many other vital surgeries were cancelled or delayed to satisfy the needs of this minister.
