LULULEMON DEMANDS THAT ITS LADY CUSTOMERS BEND OVER TO GET THEIR REFUNDS!

Lululemon is in the process of providing refunds to unhappy female customers who have discovered that Lululemon’s latest yoga pants are see-through, or at least too sheer. The big Lemon is claiming that if women bring pants back purchased after March 1 they will receive a refund no questions asked. Affronts to your dignity, on the other hand, can be expected if you want that refund.

Some women have taken to social media to complain that they were asked to put the pants on to demonstrate their sheerness. “I went into my local store to return my Astro pants and Invert crops, both purchased this month,” Ontario resident Christina Phillips posted to the company's Facebook page on March 19.

“I was asked to BEND OVER in order to determine sheerness. The sales associate then perused my butt in the dim lighting of the change room and deemed them ‘not sheer.’ I felt degraded that this is how the recall is being handled.”

'I called the GEC to confirm this is their protocol, and they verified that yes, the "educators" will verify sheerness by asking the customer to bend over,' she added.

Since then, other women have posted either to their own blogs or to the blog Lululemon Addict that either they were asked to try on the garments and bend over, or overheard other customers being asked to do so.

While the company have released a statement saying the 'bend over' test is not a standard company procedure, Lululemon's CEO, Christine Day, told Bloomberg.com: 'The truth of the matter is the only way you can actually test for the issue is to put the pants on and bend over.'

So bend over ladies in Stephen Harper's Canada, it’s your refund or your dignity on the line here!
